Certificate IV in Visual Arts Exhibition | May 2021

Many of us have creativity running through our veins. However, a lot of creatives find it hard to gather the confidence to put pen (or paint) to paper. Where to start? What mediums to use? Overwhelming comes to mind…

Oxygen College is the perfect place to start.

Our 2021 Geelong Certificate IV Visual Arts (Painting and Drawing) class presented their exhibition Tuesday evening, showcasing their personal, final pieces they have worked on thus far.

Taravali Milner - 'Mixed Emotions'
Taravali presented her piece ‘Mixed Emotions’ using mark making, scribbling and texture.

The students, friends and family enjoyed and appreciated the unique, vulnerable and stunning artwork. From acrylic florals to industrial prints and clay fig figurines, it is inspiring to see the pride on the students faces and the journey they have been on with Oxygen.

Samantha Bashiruddin - 'Dahlia'
Samantha presented this colourful, acrylic piece symbolising elegance and inner-strength.

Oxygen College is proud to offer the Certificate IV Visual Arts course in Geelong, Ballarat and Wyndham. The course draws (pun intended) a wide demographic of students from near and far, all with individual inspiration and stories that influence and encourage their own and their class members’ art.

Frances Trifiletti - Clay fig figurines and print series
Frances proudly presented her print series inspired by photos she took in Tasmania, along with air-dried and hand painted clay figs.
