Level: Intermediate or Advanced – to gain entry, students must hold a Certificate II and III in Visual Arts or have an existing skill set in painting and drawing.

Delivery: Part-time – 3 hours, 1 class per week in

Material Costs: An additional cost for materials such as folio, brushes, pencils and other art materials is applicable.

CUA41320 Certificate IV in Visual Arts is designed as a continuation of the Certificate II and III in Visual Arts, though students can be accepted directly into the course if they already have advanced painting and drawing skills. During this course, you will explore a range of drawing, painting and printmaking techniques to produce works to your own finished artworks. During the course, you will develop and refine your artmaking techniques, experiment with new techniques and approaches to develop your own body of artwork. You will explore diverse mediums and begin to develop meanings and concepts to develop your art to a high standard. The course is undertaken with a hands-on approach to help you develop your own individual style.

The course is aimed at students who already have a broad range of experience and knowledge in the arts and is also a great opportunity to explore your talents in a program with like-minded artists.
